Embed biodiversity into teaching and learning

Biodiversity initiatives can inspire your learners and help them become nature stewards. Find ways to weave your work into teaching, trips and time spent outdoors.

Use online learning tools to teach biodiversity

Make use of digital platforms and resources to educate learners and staff about biodiversity. This can include interactive modules, virtual tours of natural habitats, and edtech platforms that drive learning.

Develop learners' awareness of nature stewardship

When learners learn good environmental stewardship, they learn that they are responsible for other living things and that they play a key role in caring for and protecting the natural world. This needs to develop into active participation in conservation efforts and sustainable practices. Pitch this in a way that engages your learners using a non-threatening, open and discovery-led approach.
