Encourage your learners' community outreach
Motivate learners to actively engage with local organisations or initiatives that address social or environmental challenges.
Begin to develop an Asset Management Plan (AMP)
Create a detailed plan to sustainably manage and maintain your setting's physical assets, such as buildings, equipment, and grounds. Align your AMP with your Sustainability Plan.
Incorporate sustainability best practice into your operations
Use your sustainability vision, policy and strategy to inform any changes to your operations, procurement, and estate and site management.
Establish an outdoor learning programme
Building on the outdoor learning activities you’ve been conducting and the feedback you’ve collected from relevant stakeholders, create a long term, structured programme. Use the challenges and lessons you’ve learnt from this experience as an opportunity to improve the future provision.
