Arrange climate anxiety training for all staff

It’s important to provide climate anxiety training to staff to address the growing mental health effects associated with climate change amongst learners. Training helps staff recognise and support learners experiencing climate-related stress, promoting emotional resilience.

For learners, it provides coping strategies, encouraging a proactive approach to environmental concerns. This support fosters a healthier, more balanced environment, enabling both staff and learners to engage positively with climate issues.

Additionally, training can empower staff to manage their own climate-related anxieties, so that they can better maintain their own wellbeing.
