Initiate conversations with your water supplier to gather information on your setting's water consumption patterns. Request historical usage data and any benchmarks they can provide to help identify areas for improvement.
Complete a water audit
Gather historical water usage data, inspect all water fixtures, check for drips and leaks, and measure flow rates.
Identify some water management quick wins
Look to make improvements to any water management systems you have in place currently. Aim to reduce water consumption, stop leaks and mitigate water damage risks.
Plan a session on water conservation as part of your behaviour change programme
Organise awareness raising sessions to educate your whole community about water consumption, and the benefits of water conservation.
Establish regular water consumption data collection
It's important that you regularly collect and analyse your consumption data so you can monitor the effectiveness of any actions you take to improve your water conservation.
