Create sustainable travel tools for your setting

There are a range of useful resources settings can provide, including maps of safe walking routes, information about local cycling paths, access to bicycle repair kits or expertise, carpooling programmes, or guides on using public transport.

Use the results from your travel surveys to set goals and targets for reducing the carbon and environmental impacts of travel. Develop a long term travel plan, including improved data collection and analysis to inform regular campaigns, incentives, and activities to encourage lasting behaviour change.

It can be helpful to use your travel survey and engagement with your community to determine which resources will be most impactful. Taking this approach will help to reduce or remove current barriers to active travel at your setting, and help to reduce your setting's carbon footprint.

Create a list to save actions and resources, or make a plan for your setting.
