Create a sustainability working group

Assemble a team of your staff members and stakeholders to collaborate on sustainability projects. This team will discuss, plan and implement sustainable practices.

Include a range of different roles so your team can draw on a variety of skills and expertise. You may also want to include learners, where appropriate.

This increases sustainability awareness amongst staff, fosters a sense of shared responsibility, and strengthens your setting's capacity to address sustainability challenges. It will also help to gain buy-in with governors and leaders.
