Secure long-term resource and budget to support climate education and green skills

Once you have developed a delivery plan for climate education and green skills, you will need to secure additional resources and budget to enable its ongoing delivery. Typically, this will be secured through bidding for a share of your organisation's annual revenue budget, and through applying for internal capital funding allocations or external grants to support specific projects.

Speak with your finance team or business manager to understand how your internal annual revenue and capital grant funding is allocated. You might also find information in your organisation's financial handbook, policy or regulations.

There are lots of different sources for external capital and project grant funding, and each is likely to have different funding requirements. Take a look at our guidance on finding grant funding opportunities to learn more.
