Develop your net zero vision
Net zero is the point when your setting has sufficiently reduced the amount of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions you produce so that any remaining emissions can be absorbed by nature and other measures, leaving zero in the atmosphere.
Setting a net zero vision involves making a commitment to reaching net zero, and outlining when and how you plan to reduce your emissions.
For example, you might choose to align your net zero commitment to the UK's net zero target of 2050, by focussing on improving energy use, food and catering, and your community's travel habits. This approach is a good example of sustainability leadership, and will provide the foundation for you to plan your sustainability projects to reach your goals.
