Review your strategies and policies to reflect your biodiversity aims

Integrate biodiversity into your setting's current policies, procedures and ways of working, including but not limited to your sustainability policy, estates and site management practices, procurement policy, land management plan or policy, extra curricular practice including clubs, out of school trips, residentials, and experiences of other environments, and curriculum development. Implementing these should help towards meeting your long term biodiversity aims and targets.

This can look as light touch as a one liner acknowledging your setting's aims to prioritise biodiversity. It can also mean prioritising eco-friendly suppliers and products, maintaining and enhancing green spaces, and incorporating nature-based learning activities. This helps to drive a holistic approach to sustainability, ensuring consistent attention to biodiversity across all operations.
