Part of Let’s Go Zero, Climate Action Advisors are independent experts who offer free support for schools, colleges, and nurseries across England.
Appoint a net zero lead
Identify a member of staff who will be responsible for leading and coordinating your commitment to reaching net zero. This person will work across your whole community to oversee projects that help to reduce your setting's emissions.
It is important that the person who takes on this role is given the capacity to do so, and is supported by the knowledge, resources, tools and budget required to make progress. This approach demonstrates your setting's commitment, and will drive consistent action to help you reduce your emissions.
